Stanground Sports and Malborne will battle it out in the Peterborough Youth League Under 16 KO Cup final.

In Sunday’s semi-finals Stanground caused an upset when edging out Division One rivals Holbeach 2-1 thanks to goals by Ryan Foster-Smith and Jack Scholes.

Stanground haven’t won a league game all season.

The other semi-final went very much to form with Division One title chasers Malborne beating Division Two boys Riverside 4-0 thanks to a Ryan Ellwood treble and a goal from Lewis Brisbourne.

The final of the Under 18 KO Cup will be between Whittlesey Red and Glinton and Northborough Black.

First-half goals from Reagan Brown, James Hill-Seekings and Joseph Kelly earned Whittlesey their final place as they beat Bourne 3-1 while Glinton and Northborough Black beat stablemates Glinton & Northborough Amber 6-0 with Anthony Garmory and Keelan Bell both hitting doubles.
