Yaxley young guns shine

Sport news from the Peterborough Telegraph - peterboroughtoday.co.uk/sport

Sport news from the Peterborough Telegraph - peterboroughtoday.co.uk/sport

Yaxley Under 18s enjoyed a memorable FA Youth Cup success last night (October 4).

The local lads produced a sizzling comeback to beat St Neots 3-2 in a second qualifying round tie at In2itive Park.

The young Cuckoos found themselves 2-0 down at the break but an own goal and two Josh Rosser strikes inspired a charge to victory.

Yaxley’s reward is a trip to Nottinghamshire side Dunkirk in the third qualifying round.
