Holders Netherton United will face Premier Division leaders Oakham in the final of the Peterborough League’s President’s Shield competition.

Netherton pipped city rivals ICA Sports in their semi-final on Saturday (April 11) with a solitary Adam Scott goal just past the hour mark, while Oakham eased past Peterborough Sports Reserves 4-1 thanks to goals from Robbie Dance (2), Ben Easson and Edward McDonald.

Netherton will be playing in two end-of-season cup finals as they will also contest the PFA Senior Cup Final against Coates Athletic at the ABAX Stadium next month. Netherton also beat ICA in the semi-final of that competition.

The President’s Shield Final will take place at PSL on May 9.

Stilton’s chances of a surprise top-flight title were officially ended by a surprise 1-0 defeat at Langtfoft. Daniel Evans scored the only goal of the game.

Deeping Rangers Reserves drew 3-3 with Thorney, while Sawtry won 4-3 at Pinchbeck.

Coates Reserves sealed the Division One title without playing. A 1-0 defeat for AFC Stanground at Wisbech Town Reserves means Coates can no longer be caught. Lewis Clayton scored for Wisbech.

Stanground Sports won the big city derby in Division Four beating Bretton North End 4-1 to move above their rivals into top spot.

AFC Stanground Reserves sealed the Division Five title following their 8-2 win at Tydd St Mary’s Reserves. Gavin Limbrick (2), Lea Ibbott (2), River Walters (2), Liam Stokes and Luke Brace scored the goals for the champions.

FC Peterborough are promoted with Stanground following their 5-0 home win over Ryhall United A. Kammy Khan scored a hat-trick.
