Thorpe Wood Rangers Red have opened up a three-point lead at the top of Under 15 Division Three in the Peterborough Youth League.

They made no mistakes when facing Hampton Royal as a Keagan Yeoman hat-trick inspired them to a 7-2 win.

But March Town United, who shared the lead with Thorpe Wood before Sunday’s games, fell to a 5-0 defeat at Riverside Rovers. Callum Boyes (3) and Cai Morgan (2) were responsible for the shock result.

Third-placed Leverington annihilated Parkside 19-0 with Rajan Sangha (5), Jakub Strychala (4) and Jordan Buriel (3) doing the bulk of the damage.

Other big winners were Malborne in Under 15 Division Two. Matthew Robson topped the list here with four goals as they bashed Blackstones 12-0. Jordan Giddings and Seeraj Gohil both netted trebles.

Stamford Red have had their lead over Deeping Blue reduced to a point at the top of Under 16 Division One after coming unstuck 3-1 at Yaxley Lynx for whom Matthew Dale (2) and Liam Sanderson were on target.
