Sunday football: Town slam Goldhay 14-0 in biggest win so far

PETERBOROUGH Town took another step towards the Peterborough Sunday Morning League Premier Division by bagging their biggest win of the season.

The table-toppers bashed Goldhay Rangers 14-0 thanks to four goals from Stuart Haylock (right) and others by Luke Watkins (3), Josh Orange (2), Tom Stocks (2), Martin Holmes, Stuart Williams and Tom Retzlaff.

Diesel Power closed to within two points of the Division Four summit by beating basement boys Peterborough Athletic 3-1 thanks to two Sean Rodgers goals and a Chris Lyons effort.
