Ketton boast the only 100 per cent winning record in the Peterborough Premier Division.

The Pit Lane players beat Crowland 4-0 to make it three wins from three games on Saturday (August 13). Scott Tooney and James Cracknell also scored.

Stilton UNited also have nine points, but they’ve played a game more than Ketton. A hat-trick from Lori Da Silva was the highlight of their 4-1 weekend win at Holbeach United Reserves. Robbie Da Silva was also on target.

A couple of title fancies were held to draws, another suffered a shock home defeat and another saw their match postponed as opponents couldn’t raise a side.

Netherton United were the inactive ones as Thorney pulled out on the morning of the game. Holidays and injuries were blamed for Thorney’s decision, but the club believe they will be able to field teams in the future.

Peterborough Sports Reserves, who have assembled a powerful squad this term, were beaten 5-4 at PSL by Langtoft United for whom Scott Spearink scored four times.

Much is expected of Pinchbeck United this season, but they blew a 2-0 lead given them by Ash Murrell and Brad Murrell and had to settle for a point at Sawtry, while reigning champions Moulton Harrox dropped points for the first time, after two 5-0 wins, in a 1-1 draw at ICA Sports.

The city side equalised five minutes from time through Conor Pridmore, but felt they would have won but for an outstanding goalkeeping performance from Lee Kenealy. Harrox scored their goal from the penalty spot.

Newly promoted sides Wisbech Reserves and Stamford Lions clashed at the Fenland Stadium and the hosts won 2-0 thanks to goals from Jack Brand and Luke Whyatt. The Lions won Division One last season, but have lost all three top-flight games so far.

Warren McSkelly struck a hat-trick as Deeping Rangers Reserves claimed their first win of the season, 4-2 at Uppingham Town.

Trey West scored AFC Stanground Sports’ goal in a 1-1 draw at Leverington.

Sutton Bridge United are the early leaders in Division One after securing a third straight win, 2-1 at King’s Cliffe thanks to goals from Matthew Eaton and Ben Partridge.
