Park Farm have come up to Standard

PARK Farm Pumas are the latest city club to be awarded the FA Charter Standard award.

The award has been given to Park Farm in recognition of the work done in various areas including grass roots development, coaching and child protection.

Pumas club chairman Ciaran McAuley said: “We would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone at the club for all their efforts to get us to this point. It is a significant milestone but indeed one of the first rungs on the ladder as to where we want to get to.”

n A series of football courses for youngsters will be held over the February half-term.

Deeping Leisure Centre, Queens Park in Yaxley and Beaumont Way in Hampton will all host events starting on Monday, February 13.

The courses are being run by Dominic Knighton and cost £12 for one day, £20 for two days or three days for £30. For more information contact Knighton on 07599 347897.
