Northern Star will play March Soccer School in the Junior Alliance League’s Under 13 Hereward Cup final.

Northern Star were 4-2 winners against Netherton in their semi-final while March edged past Deeping Claret 2-1 in the other.

Ashton Bennett-Williams, Cameron Long, Nathan Rudman and Bradly Simpson netted for Star while Jay Rout and Adam Brady were on target for March.

Northern Star Under 12s are also through to the Hereward Cup final in their age group. A goal from Luca Phillips earned them a 1-0 semi-final victory over Leverington.

They will face either Park Farm Red or Phoenix in the final.

Werrington Blue have reached the semi-finals of the Northants Under 12 Cup after a 2-1 win at Stewart & Lloyds courtesy of goals by James Cooper and Ewan Drew.

Deeping Under 14s maintained their hopes of a trophy treble for the second season running when they reached the final of the Lincs County Cup on Sunday.

They won their semi-final 3-1 at Ruston Sports thanks to goals by Nathan Pickering (2) and Harrison Dee and will meet Bottesford in the final.

Deeping are also on course for a Junior Alliance league and cup double again.

In Under 14 Division Two meanwhile, Voyager virtually wrapped up the title race by winning their penultimate game 2-1 against Malborne with goals by Lucas Rall and Charlie Webb.

A point from their final game at Rippingale and Folkingham will prove decisive.

In Under 14 Division Three, champions Oundle ended a fine season with a 4-0 win over Thurlby. Mack Holman, Samuel Herbert, Joshua Bennett and Toby Nelson got their goals.

Under 11 Division Two title chasers Gunthorpe were 13-1 winners against Woodston on Sunday.

Samuel Miller led the way on the scoresheet with five and Adam Mathieson got four.
