NORTHERN Star warmed up for a mouth-watering FA Women’s Cup mission this weekend in winning style.

A hat-trick from Gee Sturgess, two goals from Rachel Adkin and a Sofia Aragosa effort ensured they claimed the spoils in Leicestershire.

Andy Brown continued his fine start in the Northern Star Reserves hotseat. He oversaw a second victory in as many matches at the helm as Isleham Ladies were brushed aside 5-2 in the Cambs League.
