The Division One South table-toppers were beaten 3-1 away by big title rivals Leicester City Development.

Posh are still in the driving seat but their lead has been cut to a point and Leicester have a game in hand.

Leicester were determined to reverse their defeat against Posh from earlier in the season and they recalled a number of first team players.

The difference showed almost immediately and Posh were forced to withstand a great deal of early pressure from a high-pressing Leicester team.

That pressure paid off in the 18th minute when the Leicester striker pounced on a loose ball in the penalty box to make it 1-0.

In the second half Posh started to make better use of the ball by trying to play into space and it soon paid dividends when Jess Driscoll in the 60th minute was put through in a one-on-one with the Leicester goalkeeper and she calmly slotted home to make it 1-1.
