Nathan Rudman blasted Northern Star to Junior Alliance League cup final glory yesterday (April 19).

The super striker took his tally of goals for the season to an incredible 77 as he struck four times in the Under 13 Hereward Cup final against March Soccer School.

William Palmer also notched in the 5-3 win which keeps Star on course for a league and cup double. They lead the way in the Under 13 9v9 league by three points from Netherton with three more games to go.

The man-of-the-match award in yesterday’s final went to March Soccer School’s Connor Farrell.

At Under 11 level there was cup final heartbreak again for One Touch.

They lost out to Deeping Blue in the League Cup final last month and yesterday were beaten 3-1 by Arsenal Soccer School Yellow in the PFA Cup decider. Harry Vickers (2) and Ashley Quince were on target for the young Gunners and Quince also picked up the man-of-the-match award.

In the third final played at Chestnut Avenue yesterday, Under 12 Division One champions Alconbury Colts completed a league and cup double by beating Hampton Blue 3-0 in the Under 12 League Cup final.

Harvey Gargiulo, Ryley McDougald and Connor O’Donovan got their goals and Bailey Baker was their man-of-the-match award winner.
