Hot-shot Emmanuel Ochube was the star turn once again for title-chasing Netherton Phoenix Under 13s on Sunday.

The ace striker took his tally for the season to 46 goals from 15 games as he blasted a treble to earn his side a 3-2 win at Spalding.

Spalding were leading 2-1 at half-time with two goals by Ryan Thomas, who’s also having a fine season in front of goal with 25 strikes to his credit.

The win saw Phoenix take over from Colsterworth at the top of the Division Two table.

Third-placed Bourne went goal-crazy at home to Leverington.

They won 17-0 with goals by Luke Edwards (5), Robert Clark (4), Omar Hassine-Hinks (3), Ethan Hunt (2), Casey Machin, Joseph Philby and Charlie Wheeler.

In Under 13 Division Three, Thurlby went joint top with Peterborough Northern Star Black after crushing Crowland 5-1 with goals by Matthew Wright (3) and Max Tompsett (2).

Park Farm Red are just a point behind the top two and have two games in hand on both of them. They beat Glinton & Northborough Amber 3-1 on Sunday thanks to goals by Liam Nightingale (2) and Callum McAuley.

In Under 12 Division One a double strike by substitute Shane Bointon earned leaders Deeping Blue a 2-0 win over Hampton Navy to preserve their one-point lead over Baston at the top.

Baston were meanwhile winning 7-1 at Holbeach and leading the way with a treble there was Adam Blackbird.

There was a big shock in Under 12 Division Three as table-topping Hungate were held to a 4-4 draw at home by Kings Cliffe. Substitute Ewan Buckby was the visitors’ hat-trick hero.

In Under 12 Division Four it’s still Spalding Orange setting the pace.

They had Stephen Hammond (2), Lewis Haythorn, Ronnie Smith and Alfie Tointon to thank for a 5-1 win against stablemates Spalding Blue.

Gunthorpe Navy closed the gap on runaway Under 14 Division One leaders Wasps to eight points by beating Leverington 5-0. Andzej Smirnov and Sam Bayly both fired doubles.
