And Pinchbeck United were surprisingly beaten 3-2 at lower level club Railway Athletic in the Lincs Junior Cup. It was a first defeat in 11 matches for Pinchbeck whose goals were scored by Liam Ogden and Daniel Woods.

Division One side Stamford Bels also bowed out, but Baston, Sutton Brudge United and Tydd St Mary all made progress in the same competition.

Netherton United took advantage of postponements and county cup commitments to move up to second in the Premier Division table with a come-from-behind win over Deeping Rangers Reserves at the Grange.

The city side trailled 1-0 with 20 minutes to go before Tom Randall fired home the equaliser and veteran assistant manager Ronnie Fortune rolled back the years with a brilliant winning goal.

ICA Sports smashed 10 past struggling Crowland with Nathan Glover and Joshua Smith both claiming hat-tricks and Stilton beat AFC Stanground 3-1 with goals from Liam Rodden (2) and Zack Fisher.
