Coates Athletic remain top of the ChromaSport & Trophies Peterborough League Premier Division after sharing the spoils with nearest rivals Oakham United on Saturday (February 21).

The game at Oakham finished 1-1 after Jake Pell fired Coates in front and Stuart Lambie levelled just before the break.

Coates now hold a one-point advantage over Oakham but the Leicestershire side have a game in hand.

The next two teams - ICA and Netherton - both hit a winning note on Saturday.

ICA overcame Thorney 2-0 with goals by Sam Makansi and Joshua Smith while Netherton won 2-1 at Uppingham thanks to strikes by Stephen Mastin and Dwayne Rankin.

Top six sides Stilton and Langtoft were also victorious.

Stilton had Mark Baines and Craig Smith to thank for a 2-1 win at Peterborough Sports Reserves and on target for Langtoft in a 4-1 win at Sawtry were Dan Evans (2), Talal Kamara and Rhys Ford.
