Deeping Blue Under 11s won the first of the Hereward Teamwear & Trophies Peterborough Junior Alliance League Cup finals yesterday (March 29) at Whittlesey.

They beat arch rivals One Touch 3-0 at Stonald Field with goals from Samuel Browning, Bob Horne and Archie Rickards. Rickards was voted man-of-the-match.

Glinton and Northborough Amber won the Under 11 Hereward Cup final.

Deeping are also on course to win the Division One title as well. They lead the way from One Touch by three points with there games to go.

Glinton & Northborough Amber Under 11s are also looking good for a league and cup double.

They top the Division Four table and yesterday won the Hereward Cup by beating Leverington 2-1 in the final, also played at Stonald Field.

Man-of-the-match Sidney O’Connell and Joseph Sandel scored their goals with Declan Wakeham replying for Leverington.

A goal from Liam Nightingale earned Park Farm Pumas Red a 1-0 win over Northern Star in the Under 12 Hereward Cup final, which again took place at Stonald Field.

Star goalkeepr Ethan Jones picked up the man-of-the-match award.
