Deeping and Sports remain on course for Under 18 titles

Deeping Rangers Under 18s made it a magnificent seven wins from seven Division One games on Sunday.

They preserved their 100 per cent record in style, slamming Pinchbeck United 8-0 to open up a five-point lead over Peterborough Northern Star at the top of the table.

Warren McSkelly and Scott Waumsley both fired doubles against Pinchbeck with Samuel Green, Will Mann, Elliott Ramsden and George Smith completing the rout.

They went five points clear at the top of Division Two following an 11-2 drubbing of Glinton and Northborough Blue.

Jordan Hammond and Roman Paterson claimed hat-tricks to move on to 13 goals apiece for the season and Calum Cooke bagged a brace.

Under 18 Division Three produced the biggest winners of the day in the shape of Oundle Town.

They clipped Wittering Harriers’ wings 15-1 with goals by Nathan Butler (5), Ryan Pickstone (4), Edward Thorpe (3), Liam Barnett (2) and Peter Beverly.

Hempsted United took the honours in the big game in Under 16 Division Three.

They won 7-4 at title rivals and table-topping Netherton United thanks to goals by Aaron Wills (3), Jacob Hoffmann, Clark McDonald, Callum Pridmore and Joshua Howard.

Hempsted are now seven points behind Netherton with three games in hand.

In Under 16 Division Two, Peterborough Northern Star Red and Thorpe Wood Rangers narrowed the gap on the top two teams, Ketton and Gunthorpe Harriers, who were both without a game.

Star were 5-1 winners at Blackstones thanks to goals by Samuel Wilson (2), Joshua Evans, Christian Hillah and Alexander Makanjuola, while Thorpe Wood beat Pinchbeck 4-1.
