Both Bourne sides reach cup semis

It could be an all-Bourne Town final in the Peterborough Youth League Under 18 KO Cup.

Bourne Black and Bourne Red were both quarter-final winners on Sunday and have been drawn apart in the semi-finals.

Division One title-chasers Bourne Black were comfortable 5-1 winners against Spalding United from Division Two. Ian Goode (2), Lewis Fountain and Zak Munton were also on target with an own goal completing their tally.

The Red team were up against Division Two rivals Wisbech Acorns and won 2-0 with goals by Daniel Rayner and Rocky Milne.

In the other quarter-final played on Sunday, Division One table-toppers Northern Star won 4-3 at third-placed Stamford.

Joseph Kelley bagged a brace for Star with Ian King and Bradlee Page also on target. Star will tackle Bourne Black in the semis.

Biggest Youth League winners on Sunday were Glinton and Northborough Black Under 15s. They smashed Hampton Royal in Division Three 12-1 with Vance Holland hitting five and Joshua Donnelly claiming a hat-trick.
