Mark was an ever present in the Football League for Posh in 1997-98 and 2004-05.
He was an unused sub on 69 occasions, the second-most in Posh history behind fellow goalkeeper Dan Connor (113) who used to understudy Mark!
Mark has actually made 497 Football League appearances as he made another 11 while on loan at Bury last season. He also spent time on loan at Yeovil, Watford and Hull without ever making a Football League appearance for any of them.

Mark has won England caps at youth, Under 17 and Under 20 level. He represented his country in the World Youth Cup in Malaysia in the summer of 1997.

Unsurprisingly Mark has never scored a professional goal, but he did net when playing as a winger for Posh in an FA Youth Cup tie against Great Yarmouth.
Mark has won The Evening Telegraph Footballer of the Year prize on three occasions, 2002, 2004 & 2007.
The honour of a place in the Second Division side selected by his fellow professionals came Mark's way at the end of the 2001-02 League One season.
Mark is the 13th youngest player to play for Posh. The list is headed by Matthew Etherington who was 15 when he made his club debut in 1997.
Mark is the second youngest goalkeeper after Steve Zenchuk who never made another Posh appearance after his debut.
