England coach gives tips to local keepers
ENGLAND Under 20 and Birmingham City goalkeeping coach Dave Watson was the star attraction at the latest 'Kevin Oldham Goalkeeping Development Centre' coaching session.
ENGLAND Under 20 and Birmingham City goalkeeping coach Dave Watson was the star attraction at the latest 'Kevin Oldham Goalkeeping Development Centre' coaching session.Almost 20 keepers attended the three sessions which run weekly at Peterborough Town Sports Club's Bretton Gate base on Friday nights.
Oldham said: "I strive to shape the goalkeepers for tomorrow and if there are any out there that think they have the potential then please contact me."
Goalkeepers who have progressed recently from the Development Centre are Paul Walker of Northampton Town and Wales Under 17 international, Aaron Butcher of Boston United FC.
Sessions are available for goalkeepers from 7-18. Anyone interested in attending the sessions should contact Oldham on 07879 290379.
