England's glory for Dennis in Six Nations

Dogsthorpe darts ace Dennis Harbour was in the England team that retained the Six Nations Cup in Sligo in the Republic of Ireland at the weekend.

They saw off Wales 13-8 in the final after a 13-10 win over Scotland in the semi-finals.

In group games England started with a shock 13-12 defeat at the hands of the Republic of Ireland, but bounced back to qualify for the semi-finals by beating Wales 13-5.

The other members of the England team were Scott Mitchell, Jamie Hughes, Mark McGeeney and James Hurrell.

Sean and Lisa Leedell and Connor Gordon and Lucy Moore won the Peterborough Clubs Mixed Pairs League knockout qualifiers on Tuesday night and will now meet in the final at the Post Office Club on August 30.
