Ketton clinched a Stamford Twenty/20 cup double by demolishing Ufford Park in the KO Shield Final last night (July 20)

The final was a damp squib at Market Deeping CC as Ufford were shot out for just 51 and Ketton eased to victory with more than half of their overs and seven wickets to spare.

Man-of-the-match Shakir Mahmood did all the early damage taking 4-8 with all his victims clean bowled. Will Compton and Ulrich Van Duyker backed Mahmood up with three wickets apiece.

There wee more extras (26) than runs from the bat (25) in Ufford’s innings.

Ketton beat Bourne in the final of the Stamford Charity Cup last week (July 13).
