Cambridgeshire’s chances of a third win in the Unicorns Championship were ended by rain at March Town CC today (August 2).

Cambs were 109-1 from one ball short of 27 overs chasing 288 ti beat Bedfordshire when the match was called off for good.

Peterborough Town’s Asim Butt had just been dismissed for 61. Opener Nesan Jeyaratnum was 43 not out.

Earlier Beds posted 275-5 in their second innings before declaring. Wisbech Town all-rounder James Williams added three wickets to the 61 he scored with the bat in Cambs first innings.
