MINOR COUNTIES: Prolific Smith will be the star attraction for Cambs

Unbeaten Cambridgeshire host Bedfordshire at March Town CC in the Eastern Division of the Unicorns Championship for three days starting on Sunday (July 31, 11am starts).

Lewis Bruce skippers Cambs against Beds.

Cambs have won two and drawn two of their four matches under first-season skipper Lewis Bruce and sit fourth in the 10-team division with two matches to play.

Bruce will be joined in the team by Peterborough Town clubmates Asim Butt and Joe Dawborn.

Wisbech Town stars James Williams, Josh Bowers and Sam Rippington are also included.

Star attraction could be Cambs professional Ben Smith whos has passed 150 in an innings in each of the last two matches.
