LINCS PREMIER DIVISION: Bourne bashed, losing draw for Deeping
Bourne were thrashed by six wickets by Lincoln at the Abbey Lawns, while Deeping had much the worst of a draw at reigning champions Bracebridge Heath.
Bourne were almost beaten even more heavily as they slumped to 27-5 and 64-8 before number nine Jack Berry struck 44 of a total of 139.

Hide AdLincoln slipped to 16-2, but Minor Counties player Luke Robinson smacked an unbeaten 87 from just 62 balls to power his side home in just 23 overs and four balls.
Deeping had Bracebridge in trouble at 108-7, but let them escape to 197. Zac Simmonds (4-72) was Deeping’s top bowler.
Deeping the batted terribly up top as they crashed to 22-5 before captain Dave Gillett (59no) led them to safety. As a result Deeping dropped out of a tie for first place to third position behind Grantham and Lincoln.
Bourne are seventh ahead of their appearance in Winkworth Cup Twenty/20 Finals day at Sleaford on Monday (May 30).
