Peterborough-based King’s Keys are out to claim one of the Twenty/20 shocks of the season when visiting Nassington in the semi-final of the Stamford Knockout Shield tonight (June 22).

The city side play their cricket in Hunts Division Three and Rutland Division Two so will be big underdogs against a Nassington side who lost for the first time in 10 Twenty/20 matches this summer in the Rutland semi-final yesterday (June 21).

But King’s Keys claimed a big scalp in their quarter-final when sneaking past Burghley Park and Nassington will be without main men Dan Robinson (Cambs duty) and Ryan Duffy (holiday).

Ketton will also be without their star man Ben Bryant because of Minor Counties commitments when they travel to Outgang Road for their semi-final against Market Deeping.

Nassington and Market Deeping meet in the Jaidka Cup Final at Barnack on Wednesday (June 24, 6pm).

Nassington also take on Uppingham in the Stamford Charity Cup Final at Stamford Town CC next Monday (June 29, 6pm).
