England skipper Charlotte opens the new nets at Nassington

ENGLAND Ladies captain Charlotte Edwards officially opened the brand new training nets at Nassington Cricket Club this week.

Edwards hails from Pidley, near Somersham and started her cricket career playing with and against the boys at Ramsey Cricket Club.

Nassington run thriving youth and junior schemes. Many of their regular young players were on hand to witness the opening of their new facility.
