Peterborough Town skipper Lewis Bruce will miss Cambridgeshire’s Minor Counties Championship fixture against Lincolnshire at Grantham (July 19-21) because of work commitments.

All-rounder Bruce has been one of the key men for Cambs in recent seasons. Saffron Walden batsman Matt Gouldstone comes in for his Championship debut.

Wicket-keeper Ali Russell is absent because of injury so Nassington’s Dan Robinson will don the gloves for a game Cambs must win to retain an interest in the Eastern Division title.

Cambs have won one and lost two of their opening three matches.

Peterborough Town’s Paul McMahon will again captain the side which includes clubmates Asim Butt and Joe Dawborn. Wisbech Town’s James Williams and Sam Rippington also play.

Cambs: Howgego, Richer, Butt, Bryant, Gouldstone, Robinson, Williams, McMahon, Barrs, Dawborn, Arksey, Rippington.
