Only three matches started, but none finished in the Lincs Premier Division and Cambs League combined yesterday (June 13).

March did best in Cambs Division One by providing 30 overs of action at Burrowmoor Road, enough time for opponents Godmanchester to sneak above Wisbech into second place.

Godmanchester piled up 175-4 but an early declaration proved in vain as the match was promptly abandoned because of heavy rain. City man Tariq Aziz cracked 86 for Godmanchester, while Ash Vodnala picked up two wickets for March, who remain in the relegation zone.

Leaders Ramsey were among the weather victims.

The Division Two match at Warboys against Histon lasted five overs, while the Lincs Premier Division match at Skegness survived three overs in which time Grimsby had reduced their hosts to 3-3.

One game was completed in the Hunts League as Hampton 2nds beat King’s Keys by 120 runs in Division Three.
