Craig Peacock will have some meaty shots

PHANTOMS star Craig Peacock should have a little extra meat behind his shots at Coventry this weekend after receiving backing from a top local butcher.

PHANTOMS star Craig Peacock should have a little extra meat behind his shots at Coventry this weekend after receiving backing from a top local butcher.Peacock – who has scored a sizzling 54 goals for the league and cup winners this season – has been sponsored by Stiltonbutchers.co.uk as Phantoms bid to add the play-off trophy to their impressive haul this season.

The firm is run by Peacock's Phantoms team-mate James Morgan and to mark the launch of their new credit crunch selection boxes, Morgan decided to step in with 400 worth of new sticks for the club's top British scorer.

He said: "We are going for the treble this weekend at the play-offs in Coventry and when Craig said he needed some new sticks I thought we could step in and help.

"He is a local lad and we are a local firm so it just made a lot of sense. At the end of the day we all want to make sure Craig has the right equipment to help fire us to glory.

"Our website has been growing crazily, we have not really done any advertising for it yet and just by word of mouth we have done thousands of orders. I think our prices are great and our slogan is 'Our quality is our future.

"And if by helping out Craig we can do our bit for Phantoms through the business then I am happy to help."
