The official opening of the new City of Peterborough club green, which forms part of the Peterborough Town Sports Club complex at Bretton Gate, was celebrated with a match between the club and a representative team at the weekend.

The representative team was drawn from the Northants Bowling Federation, Northants Women’s Bowling Federation, Huntingdonshire Bowls, the Peterborough League and the Werrington club, whose green the club shared last season while their new headquarters was under construction.
