The bar at Peterborough Rugby Club is in safe hands - and that's official.

The bar at Peterborough Rugby Club is in safe hands - and that's official. The work that the club's general manager Nigel Cook does in maintaining quality beers was recognised by Oakham Ales Brewery at their recent 'Oakademy of Excellence' presentation ceremony. The award is given only to those bars that maintain the highest standards.

Cook, who is also responsible for the highly successful annual beer festival held at the club in Second Drove, Fengate, over the May Bank Holiday, said: "The club is constantly striving to make improvements both on and off the pitch and it's great to receive an award that recognises the efforts that the club makes to improve it's social facilities."
