Bees sting so painful as Patterson suffers first double loss - Bracknell 4 Phantoms 1

English Premier LeaguePHANTOMS find themselves in a bit of a hole after tumbling to defeat in Bracknell last night - let's hope they don't decide to lie down in it.
Because according to coach Colin Patterson, his side were 'digging a grave' after losing twice in the same weekend for this first time in his reign at the club.
Goals from Matt Foord, Andrius Kaminskas, Matti Hietakangas and Peter Jasik left Phantoms in sombre mood after their worst weekend of the season. The one bright spot was, however, that Slough did them a big favour by beating Guildford 3-2 to leave the two teams level on points at the top of the English Premier League.
Patterson said: "We are digging ourselves a bit of a grave but luckily Guildford appear to be doing the same.
"It is getting harder and harder to win matches as the season goes on and we got what we deserved against an improved Bracknell side.
"Pete Russell has come in to help them out and he has done really well with the guys and they just outworked us at times out there.
"They took their chances well but we did have our moments and had we scored with an early penalty shot it could have been different, but there you go.
"It is really tight at the top and to be honest I think it is going to stay like that until the final day.
"Everyone in the league is battling for something and that makes every game a big challenge. We just need to make sure we are up to it from now on."
After Foord gave Bees the lead, Nathan Rempel for once missed the target with his penalty shot to leave Phantoms trailing going into the second period.
With Stephen Wall on the bench and Andy Munroe absent from the visiting line up, Kaminskas then doubled the home side's advantage.
In the final period Hietakangas fired home to make it 3-0 to Bees and while Joe Miller gave Phantoms hope with a well-taken goal, it soon disappeared when Jasik popped up to make it four.
