REFEREE Mike Jones – who has been demoted from the Premier League following the 'beach ball goal' incident in Sunderland's win over Liverpool at the weekend – will take charge of Posh's home clash against Scunthorpe on Saturday.Fifa's laws of the game state that the Premier League match should have been stopped when Bent's shot struck a balloon on its way past Reina in the Liverpool goal.

Jones will take charge of the Championship game between Peterborough United and Scunthorpe at London Road on Saturday (kick-off 3pm).
