The annual Peterborough half marathon, sponsored by Perkins takes place this Sunday, 14 October, here is information for those taking part and local residents:
The run, which will start and finish at the Embankment, will pass through Cathedral Square, Broadway, Central Park, Fulbridge Road, Walton, Werrington, Gunthorpe and Paston before returning to the city centre.
It was originally planned for the half-marathon to take a route through the iconic Perkins manufacturing site in Eastern Industry. Perkins is the main sponsor of the race and is celebrating its 80th anniversary this year.

The Fun Run sets off at 10am, followed by the Half Marathon starting at 10:30am.
Entry closing date is midnight on Monday, 8th October, information is on the Perkins Great Eastern Run website.
All entrants will receive a parking permit to enable them to park free in any Peterborough City Council car park - details on the PGER website.
