CROSS-COUNTRY: Barnack are Brill at Peterborough Primary Schools Championships

Barnack emerged as the top school when almost 200 youngsters ran in the Peterborough Primary Schools Cross-Country Championships at Ferry Meadows yesterday (March 31).

They won the overall team trophy and also provided the individual winner of the girls race and the third-placed finisher in the boys race.

Norah Brill was their girls winner, taking the honours ahead of Lily McCann from Northborough and Calleigh Coull from Fourfields, Yaxley.

Winner of the boys race was Alex Roberts from Northborough with Lewis Wiles (Fourfields) the runner-up and Finlay Steer from Barnack third.

Both the individual winners run for Nene Valley Harriers.
