Nene Valley’s Flo Brill is an exciting prospect, and the county cross country champion shattered both the club under 13 record and her own PB, which was set the previous weekend, when winning the 1500m in a time of 4:58.02. This fine run moved Brill up to sixth in the current UK rankings.

Peterborough AC’s 17 year old Daniel Mees was another local to shine, comfortably winning the under 20 800m in 1:52.88 and following it up with a stunning victory in the 1500m.
