A few better fish have been taken from the Damson Pool at Decoy since the turn of the year, but in the Ramsey & District Angling Society match there on Sunday it was those fishing for the small carp that had the best of the action.

Leading the way from peg one was John Price, who fished close in with maggot for 62lb 8oz. Second from peg 17 was Dave Yardy on 56lb 4oz, then it was Rob Wright with 54lb 8oz.
