What a result the Ramsey & District Angling Society had in their match on the Magpie Pool at Rookery Waters.
Although the warm weather saw fish starting to spawn, there were still plenty on the feed.
Leading the way was Rob Wright, who drew peg 12 and caught on the waggler and also down the margins for 173lb 6oz.
Just missing out with 172lb 8oz was Alex Bates, who caught lots of small fish on pellet close in, then came Abbi Kendall.
She fished a waggler and topped up with some better fish in the margins on maggot late on for 161lb 14oz.
The club are back on the same venue this Sunday and tickets are still available.
Over at Kingsland Fishery, Turves, Fenland Rods found the fish more than willing to feed with most anglers catching well.
There is no stopping the in-form Mac Campbell though.Once again he completely dominated the match finishing with a fine 172lb taken close in with meat.
Runner-up was Peter Parlett, who had 150lb 3oz, then in third place came Kev Lee with 142lb 7oz.
