Leading the way with 71lb 15oz of carp was Martin Parker, who caught well on meat all day fishing a short pole line.

Runner-up was John Brodie with 48lb 12oz, then came George Scally with 44lb 2oz.

Deeping St James AC fished for two cups in one match on their own lake at Wansford on Sunday.

Cup winner number one was Wayne Newman on peg 19, fishing cat meat on a short pole line for a winning weight of 43lb.

Second was Ray Torrington on peg 17 with 33lb 10oz and third Phil Price on peg 16 with 30lb 10oz.

The winner of the Knockout Cup was Tony Johnson on peg 37 with 23lb 8oz.

Whittlesey AA fished the Silver Fish Pool at Kingsland Fishery on Saturday with Mark Barron leading the way with 50lb 8oz caught on a short pole line with meat and pellet.

Runner-up was Andy Bull, who fished worm over meat for 41lb 2oz, followed by Andy Lawrence with 29lb 8oz.
