First match ends in a tie on The Bower

Yaxley, Farcet Holme and District AC fished their first match of the season at The Bower and it produced a tie for first place.

The winning weight of 2lb 10oz was caught by both John Furnell and Lionel Whaley.

Furnell fished a four-metre whip using red maggot, while Whaley opted for a short-line 5m pole and alternated between red pinkie and bread punch.

Brian Warren finished third with 2lb 6½oz.
