Bob a fitting winner of memorial match

Cock Inn AC were at Kingsland small carp lake on Sunday with close to a full house.

This was a special match for the club as it was the second Lee Eudale Memorial match.

And fittingly the trophy was won again by Lee’s good friend Bob Mills, who drew peg 15 and gave a master-class in margin fishing to win with 143lb 5oz of carp.

Runner-up was the consistent Mick Sidney with 86lb 2oz from peg 13 and third was Chris Shortland with 81lb 14oz from peg nine.

JVAC

Some of the Decoy Lakes big guns fished the JVAC match on Sunday which added a little spice to proceedings.

Topping the impressive field with 174lb 15oz from peg five was Tony Dawson, who caught on a short pole line with dead reds over pellet.

Second was Lee Kendall with 152lb 10oz, then came Kevin Wadge with 143lb 8oz.

OVER 55s

The Over 55s match on the Cedar Pool at Decoy was won by Jay Richardson from peg 30 with 138lb 1oz, all taken on the long pole with pellet.

Runner-up with 122lb 1oz was Dave Keech then came Stan Dow with 121lb 4oz.
