Williams raced to 112 not out from just 78 balls to propel Wisbech to a 48-over total of 284-4. The Cambs Minor Counties all-rounder compiled his innings in textbook style with all of his boundaries stroked along the deck.
Openers Dave Wood (67) and Simon Freear (42) had given the Wisbech innings a steady start. Chris Clark (4-36) did most to ensure that Granta seconds were dismissed for 204 in reply.
Nassington have also started well with runs flowing from all their main batsmen. This weekend Mohammed Haroon claimed his first ton and former Peterborough Town player Tariq Aziz weighed in with a classy 74 as Nassington raced past Sawston's 232-8 with five wickets and almost three overs to spare.
Reigning champions March bounced back from an opening day defeat to hammer Godmanchester seconds by eight wickets.
Craig Chapman (4-37) and Chris Ringham (3-19) did most to shoot out Goddy for 136 before Connor Cunningham (50) and Ed Rodgers (61no) blasted March to victory – the latter was having his first knock of the season.
Ramsey suffered a second straight defeat as Burwell eased home by 12 runs at Cricketfield Lane despite the best efforts of Michael Kay (5-68) and Aussie teenager Jack Little (86).
Yaxley completed a third straight Division Two win as a solid team performance was enough to see off Abington by 104 runs.
Neil Buckingham (38) top scored in Yaxley's 191-9 and Russ Noble (4-27) returned the best bowling figures as Abington were dismissed for 87 in reply.
Khalsa secured an exciting two-wicket win over Bluntisham from the last ball of the match. Tas Ahmed (67), Kirpal Singh (51) and Gurpal Singh (30no) were the main men as Khalsa finally passed their visitors' 208-5.
Castor already look a team doomed for the drop. This weekend's horror show involved a team score of just 78 and an eight wicket defeat.
