MARTIN Van Der Merwe of Oundle and Kirpal Singh of Khalsa are top of The Evening Telegraph Merit Table batting charts.
Both have earned five entries to lead nine other players by one. Haroon Mohammed of Nassington is the clear leader of the bowling competition with three entries.

Entries are gained by scoring 50 or more runs in a single innings or by taking five or more wickets. Results must be published in The Evening Telegraph to count.
