WILLIAM Felgate enjoyed a dream debut for Ufford Park seconds in a nine-wicket hammering of Werrington in Rutland Division Seven.
The 18 year-old bagged 3-20 as Werrington were dismissed for 148 before cracking an unbeaten 98 which included 17 fours and two sixes.

It was Ufford's first win of the season achieved on the same day that Peterborough Town seconds lost for the first time in Division Six this summer, by three wickets to Weldon.

There was another stunning performance by a talented teenager at this level as 17 year-old Bourne Grammar School pupil George Duffen led Barnack seconds to a stunning eight-wicket win at home to Netts.

The city side looked set for victory after piling up 261-2 in their 45 overs thanks mainly to Paul Garrett's 103 not out and 64 from Ian Winters.

But Duffen amassed a career best 141 not out (over 100 more than his previous best score in men's cricket) and Christian Bengtson added 58 as Barnack eased home with two overs to spare.

Ufford's senior side also recorded a handsome eight-wicket win at Desborough in Division Three. Tom Hart (75no) and Danny Harrington (55no) added an unbeaten 147 for the third wicket after Ufford had slipped to 10-2.

Also in Division Three, Bretton's Martin Rowell ripped through the Brigstock batting order to return figures of 6-15.

In Division Two Paul Bird (94) and Anthony Graves (58) saw Market Deeping to a six-wicket win at Nassington and March Town's Aussies Steve Seymour (79) and Andrew Devenish (77no) were in blistering form as Yaxley were routed by eight wickets. March teenager Callum Young (5-28) took his first five-wicket haul.

Barnack first team recorded a good victory after recovering from a difficult position against in form Newborough. Skipper Steve Best rescued his side from 98-8 with a battling half century and also took a couple of wickets as Newborough were shot out for 87 to complete a 81-run win.

Ashley Rodgers delivered a stylish century for Castor, but opponents Bourne still managed to sneak home by two wickets thanks chiefly to Mark Fotheringham's 59.

Adam Scotcher's 52 and four wickets from his father Gary helped Barnack beat Burghley Park by 33 runs in Hunts Division One. Sawtry won a low scoring thriller by four wickets at Alconbury.

Market Deeping seconds suffered a serious trouncing at Boston in South Lincs Division One. The home side scorched to 341-0 in just 43 overs with opener Alan Mountford's unbeaten 201 well supported by James Cheer who finished on 129 not out.

Deeping laboured to 157-5 in reply and are looking up at the rest of the division after five straight defeats, but there was a far different game at Welby where Spalding won by just three wickets.

The home side were destroyed by Chris Page (7-28) as they collapsed to 70 all out.
