The Hares are hoping for more giantkilling

MARCH hope the magic of the FA Cup will descend on the GER tomorrow as Brett Whaley's men bid for another giantkilling scalp.
The Hares - who play their football in the Ridgeons First Division - have already sent higher-level Haverhill packing. Now another Premier Division side, table-topping Leiston, lie in wait in the preliminary round. It is officially Leiston's home tie, but due to the unavailability of their ground it has been switched to the GER.
Should the tie go to a replay, that will also be staged at March and Whaley wants his players to seize the moment in front of their fans.
He said: "I expect Leiston to be a lot tougher than Haverhill. They are top of the Premier Division and will be a classy outfit
"They will probably expect to roll us over but my lads are buzzing after going four games unbeaten and we will certainly be giving it a good go.
"The squad is getting better all the time and hopefully we can get a big crowd in tomorrow."
Leiston boast former Stockport striker Tes Bramble - the brother of Wigan defender Titus - in their ranks, but March have a lethal weapon of their own . . . skipper Luke Pepper.
Pepper has hit six goals in as many games and even missed a penalty.
Whaley added: "Luke plays just off the main frontman and opponents just can't pick him up. He has a lot of pace and can finish very well.
"He is a local lad and one we are very lucky to have at the club. Both Luke and Mark Welcher are boys that could easily play football at a higher level, but they enjoy playing in their home town and can see that we are trying to make progress as a club."
YAXLEY boss Gary Clipston has received a major boost on the eve of his side's giantkilling attempt at Spalding.
Striker Liam Harrold and defender Andy Lodge have both snubbed big-money moves to Ridgeons League side Wivenhoe.
The duo arrived from Blackstones during the summer and have played prominent roles in Yaxley's unbeaten start to the season.
Clipston said: "It is so refreshing that two players are prepared to stay at a club where they are enjoying their football despite being offered a lot more money to go elsewhere - and I mean a lot more money.
"So many lads turn their heads for an extra fiver these days and for Liam and Andy to stay with us is really refreshing."
Clipston welcomes Dan Jacobs and Elio Salerno back into his squad for the trip to the Sir Halley Stewart Field and has re-signed Dominic Henson - a man recently seen on the small screen during GMTV's 'Battle of the Brides' competition where couples battled it out to win a plush wedding.
Spalding could have a new striker in their side against the Cuckoos. Moroccan man Younes Tajer - who has had spells with Deeping and Peterborough Sports - was due to hold talks with boss Alan Biley last night.
