Darren Ferguson is being lined up as the next boss of QPR - according to a national newspaper today.
The ambitious Championship side, who sacked Ian Dowie during the week, are thought to be keen on an up-and-coming British manager.

And Ferguson, who steered Posh to promotion last season and the play-off places already this season in League One, fits the bill - according to the News of the World.

Do you think Fergie would quit Posh?

Do you think he will stay and finish the job he has started?

Should Posh let him go?
Comment below or email bob.french @peterboroughtoday.co.uk.

Update, Monday, 27 October: Fergie: I am happy at Posh.

If QPR really want him they have the money to pay compensation. Again I wonder how much is just paper talk rather than actual facts.

If it's in the News Of The World it must be true! How many times do that paper have to pay out compensation for false stories.

As a QPR fan i do not want him as our manager, we want a big name, he will be out of his depth.

As a Posh fan, i would be disappointed if he left to manage a small club.

Let QPR have their next big name manager getting them nowhere. We prefer our up and coming young manager to steer our team beyond their level.

The project he has here at Posh is far more interesting than taking on an unstable, struggling Championship side.

An eciting young club with real ambition and a Chairman who lets him get on with it...... or has been once famous tin pot numpties where he'll never actually get to pick the team or buy a player anyway!

U decide!

QPR are hardly struggling. I think QPR can buy anyone they like so the comments are silly.

It is paper talk anyway. A bigger name will be QPR Manager soon

Silly Comments!

"I think QPR can buy anyone they like"

Ronaldo, Rooney, Robinho, Boyd, Maclean

Get a grip!
