Posh sign Dagenham winger Green

1.25pm: Posh have beaten off competition from three other clubs to sign young Dagenham & Redbridge winger Dominic Green.
The 19 year-old has arrived for an undisclosed fee but chairman Darragh MacAnthony confirmed it is 'the biggest amount spent on one player this summer'.

He was also attracting attention from two Championship outfits and fellow League One club Huddersfield.

Posh boss Darren Ferguson said: "This goes along with our policy of signing young, hungry players. He has real potential."

I'm amazed Posh have gone for the guy. I saw him play last week and he's okay but nothing special and not worth the 250k rumoured to have paid.

Hopefully he will prove me wrong and do well.

why dont we let the lad unpack his bags & settle in before we judge him ? if hes anything like sergio torres or russell martin then hes gonna be another great asset to the club ? fergie has brought him in for a reason & lets face it the other two pre season buys are quality...welcome aboard dominic im sure you will more than proove worthy of the £150,000 price tag tricky dicky w/sey
