JIMMY Bullard will join an exclusive club if he makes his England debut against Andorra or Croatia this week.
Only a handful of players have played for Posh before going on to become full internationals. Bullard played 77 times for Posh and scored 14 goals between 2001 and 2003.

GARY BREEN
Breen was that Posh rarity, a good signing by John Still, although he did manage to play the lanky, pacy player out of position in midfield.

When switched to the centre of defence, Breen was a revelation. He won Republic of Ireland Under 21 caps while at Posh and went on to appear 63 times for his country's senior side after moving to Birmingham, Coventry, West Ham and Sunderland.

Breen even managed an international goal in the 2002 World Cup Finals against Saudi Arabia.

COLIN CLARKE
Clarke was pretty useless at Posh. He appeared lazy and disinterested while managing 22 goals in 88 appearances between 1981 and 1984.

But a move to Tranmere galvanised his career and he soon attracted the attentions of Northern Ireland selectors. He appeared 38 times for his country during stints at Bournemouth, Southampton, QPR and Portsmouth

Clarke was at one time Northern Ireland's top scorer with 13 goals. His son Lee made the jump up from local Sunday football to the Posh first-team squad.

OLLIE CONMY
Modest, softly-spoken Conmy was a high class inside forward who won all five of his international caps for the Republic of Ireland while at Posh between 1964 and 1972.

He was an integral part of the team that reached the quarter-finals of the FA Cup for the first and only time in the club's history in the 1964-65 season.

Conmy has the made the 11th highest number of Posh starting appearances with 292.

SIMON DAVIES
'Digger' was one of the stars of the Posh team which reached the semi-finals of the FA Youth Cup in 1997.

He soon graduated into the first-team when his athletic midfield displays ensured he became a firm fans' favourite.

Premier League Spurs also noticed how good Davies was and paid £700,000 for him in December 1999 – that remains a Posh club record sale, for a player who made 75 appearances and scored six goals.

He made his first Wales appearance while at White Hart Lane and passed the 50 mark last season when at Fulham.

He skippered his country in his last appearance last month.

HELGI DANIELSSON
Another youth team product who flitted in and out of the first team despite winning a trial at AC Milan in his teenage days.

Danielsson lacked the pace and strength to make an impact in the hurly burly of lower league football in England, but has flourished back in Scandanavian football.

Danielsson played 41 times for Posh between 2000 and 2002.
