DARREN Ferguson will inspire his players tonight by telling them they are just five matches away from a match at Wembley Stadium.
The Posh manager, a winner of the competition in his playing days at Wrexham, is taking the Johnstone's Paint Trophy very seriously.

He believes it's a great chance for Posh to win some silverware so he will field a strong side in this evening's second round tie against Dagenham & Redbridge at London Road.

Ferguson said: "I want to do well in the competition. I know fans don't get too excited by it until the latter stages, but a match at Wembley with the chance of winning a trophy should be incentive enough for all of us.

"We only have to win a handful of matches so it won't affect our ambitions in the League.

"We do have one or two players who have played a lot of football so they might need a rest, but the fact that I have kept Craig Morgan back from Wales for tonight proves I will play a strong side.

"Dagenham are going well so it should be a good game, but I want to win to keep our own little unbeaten run going."
