Deeping Phoenix Junior Netball Club were unbeaten on their way to winning the Wisbech Tournament at the weekend.
The girls played some fantastic netball on their way to the final where they faced host team Wisbech Rookies – also unbeaten up to that stage.

But one side's zero had to go and after a cracking tussle it was the Lincolnshire side who emerged victorious after a 17-15 result.

Coach Janine Walsham said: "It was a very tough day for the team as they played a lot of games in a short period of time.

"In the final they were magnificent with some great defence work from sisters Rebecca and Megan Haynes, together with Lauren Walsham keeping us in the game.

"We also saw some great shooting from Chloe Walsham and Simeone Compton with great centre court play from Laura Pike and Victoria Mumby. I am extremely proud of all the girls."
